Doing Business with PAX
Located in the temperate climates of the California wine country, PAX Streamline is a product development firm that specializes in improving the energy efficiency and overall effectiveness of fluid-related industrial equipment. PAX's highly efficient technologies reduce friction and drag, producing several competitive market advantages: energy efficiency, reduced noise, and improved turbulance management. Thermal management products benefit from improved heat transfer, reduced pressure, and increased energy efficiency.
The company was launched with a specific mandate: to develop and market products that employ the energy efficiency benefits of PAX's proven streamlining methodologies. The initial focus includes HVAC and refrigeration, and power generation. Our business analysts and product development managers continually assess other potential application channels to determine future initiatives.
We actively seek partnerships with companies that have made improved productivity and energy efficiency one of their forward-facing goals. These joint development projects allow clients to work closely with our teams to achieve the desired improvements in an application. Optimized designs can then be licensed.

About PAX Streamline
Launched in 2007, Streamline was spun off from PAX Scientific early in 2008 with lead funding from Khosla Ventures. Founded by influential venture capitalist Vinod Khosla, Khosla Ventures' resources come entirely from its own partners, with 100% of profits donated to charitable causes. Khosla Ventures' portfolio of renewable cleantech companies includes firms pursuing energy efficiency improvements as well as those dealing with alternative fuels.
The overarching mission of the PAX family of companies, "to apply nature's core design principles to engineer energy efficient products that enhance and sustain life on Earth," dovetails with Khosla Ventures' focus on ending U.S. dependence on fossil fuels.
